No, really, it’s all you have left. Besides the theoretical idea of property, your possessions, you have virtually nothing on this planet besides the body, mind, etc. Luckily though the body and mind can produce luscious works of creativity, or downtrodden conflicting works of idiosyncrasy; it’s really up to you.
The point is your productive prowess is your job to the world. Everything sucks, right? Real drag, that Earth, huh? Yeah, yeah. Some say that creativity is a reaction against the banality of the world. Seems reasonable to assume that all creators do this jig, because we’re trying to make sense of a senseless world. Look at all the art movements: Dada, Surrealism, Futurism, Neoism, Situationism, yada yada.
If you don’t create, why aren’t you? Even knitting a blanket is creative. Decorating your iPad with stickers or something . . . I don’t know. I don’t have the answers, otherwise I wouldn’t make art! If I didn’t make art I’d be stuck with the infamous Camus perplexities (Accept Absurd, Become Religious, Commit Suicide) and I don’t really have the time for that.
Okay, okay. I’m winding this up now. Just make things; anything.
