Last Saturday the men’s Seawolves basketball team took to their home court to face

The Knights of the Community College of Rhode Island. While attendance was

sparse, the game was not short on action as both teams went after each other with

high-octane offenses as CCRI shot 11 for 34 from the 3pt land to SMCC’s 6 for 21.

After a frantic first half SMCC was able to grab a 7pgoing into halftime, 31-24.

The second half saw CCRI started the first 7 minutes of the second half by

draining 30pts and grabbing a 54-45 lead. The Seawolves would fight back and take

the lead at the 6:25 mark on a Jack Tolan layup. The Seawolves would hold on to

take the win. After Wednesday nights 97-75 win over Unity College the men

Seawolves improve to 10-12.

Both squads take to the floor on Saturday afternoon when University of

Maine Presque Isle visits SMCC.
