Why does it always seem like people have trouble accepting who they are when they have anxiety? Why can’t a person just love herself, rather than filling herself with a massive amount of hate and negativity?
Anxiety can knock a person down when they were just on top of the world. Chemicals in the brain can cause anxiety when they are off balance. Racing thoughts and overthinking can make a person uneasy. Thoughts that coexist with anxiety are more than likely negative. All this anxiety creates these thoughts, which leads into self doubt, which then, in turn, leads to low self-esteem and low confidence. Anxiety is a killer to confidence and self-esteem, breaking people into pieces when it comes to loving themselves. So why does it always seem like people with anxiety have trouble accepting who they are? Because anxiety is negative and negativity drowns the happiness.
