SMCC President Ron Cantor spoke at the Leadership Luncheon on Sept. 1. He spoke about all different aspects of leadership, and asked questions and had conversations with students regarding it. One of his points was explaining the elements of leadership that make a good and productive leader. Some of the elements of leadership are inspiration, reassurance, vision, and progress.

Jason Saucier, director of residential life and student involvement, and Rik Sawyer, student activities advisor, presented the Emerging Leaders Program at the conclusion of the Leadership Luncheon. The Emerging Leaders Program is designed to develop students’ leadership skills through workshops about different parts of leadership.
