Apple picking is one of the most popular fall activities, especially here in the state of Maine. Here are some local orchards you can check out before the fall season ends!
Wallingford’s Fruit House, Auburn ME: Offers apple picking, pumpkins, fresh donuts, hard cider, and even a haunted walk from September 23rd-October 29th!
Pietree Orchard, Sweden ME: Offers apple picking, berries, and even peaches. Open until October 30th.
Ricker Hill Orchards, Turner ME: Offers apple picking, a corn maze, fresh donuts, and hard cider. Open March-December.
Orchard Ridge Farms, Gorham ME: Offers apple picking, maple syrup, blueberries, and even pears! Open July-November.
These are only a few of many orchards in Maine. Check out some local orchards for some fall fun while you still have the chance! Just this past weekend my friends and I checked out Wallingford’s Fruit House for both apple picking and the haunted walk. Both were incredibly put together and though it was busy, we felt no stress from the large crowd. The haunted walk is an amazing experience to get into the Halloween spirit. The actors are phenomenal, there were absolutely no complications, and overall it was a fun, laidback experience(aside from the horror of course!) Check them out before they close on the 29th!

I like how you laid out your article, and reading it I thought wow this is a good idea. Gives everybody exact location on something to do right before this winter begins to fall. Good job on this.
