Earth, that holds vast seas,
Below the depths of the ocean,
Beyond the flaky grains coating the bottom,
However did I emerge from the surface,
And see you as you see me.
Earth, that conceals vast plains,
Further than the lonely dead trees,
Faster than the wind in shards of grass,
However did I journey through dusty smoke,
And be able to touch you as you touch me.
Earth, that is protected by puffs of clouds,
Swimming through tufts of white air,
Scouring through thick bushes with no resistance,
However did I fly beyond,
And be able to get to know you as you get to know me.
Earth, might I just say,
I am so damn lucky right now.
