Lakers dominate Grizzlies in LA, Grizzlies Bounced in 6

The NBA Playoffs are off to a great start and there are a lot of surprises that have surrounded us in this wonderful time of the season. The Los Angeles Lakers bounced the Memphis Grizzlies in 6 games, winning in LA 125-85; capturing a 40 point win over the 2nd seeded Grizzlies.

With a huge performance from the former #2 pick who was initially drafted by the Lakers, D’Angelo Russell showed up and showed out, scoring 31 points on 12-17 shooting. Anthony Davis performed well on both ends, putting up 16 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks to end the Game 6 victory. LeBron James went out and grabbed 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to add on.

For the Grizzlies, underwhelming performances from Ja Morant (10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (14 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist) ultimately lead to the 40 point loss. Morant pointed to his off court incident and made clear that he needs to be better overall for next season. Dillon Brooks left the locker room as media was granted entry; not giving any media any comments as the series wrapped up. Brooks was fined 25k for missing media interviews post game.
