April is National Poetry Month. The English department on the SMCC South Portland campus hosted their annual poetry reading and open mic at the chapel. Every Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30pm, staff, faculty and students gathered to read their favorite poems and their own poems. An open mic was held the last Tuesday of the month to close out National Poetry Month.
