On August 24, Lil Nas X was arrested for walking naked in the street and for attacking three officers, according to the New York Times. He punched one officer “twice in the face,” and at one point, he was seen staggering around with a bright orange traffic cone on his head. 

This occurred in Los Angeles, California, on Ventura Boulevard. He was taken to a hospital by the police because they thought he was overdosing. Then he was taken to jail. Los Angeles police charged him with felony battery, and he had to pay $75000 in bail. And if convicted, he can face up to five years in jail.

Lil Nas X is a 26-year-old rapper who won two Grammys in 2019 for a song called “ Old Town Road”. 

His father visited him at the hospital. He gave an interview to The Sunday Times, saying “ he couldn’t do anything but cry seeing my baby boy on the other side of the glass, we shared tears for a moment. I had to tell him that what he was going through is normal; we all have breakdowns from time to time. The difference is he’s getting played in the public’s eyes.

Treatment, spoke to The Blast, although Taite warns that situations like the issue often spiral out of control when handled only as criminal cases. “Unchecked, a mental health crisis caused by excessive drug use usually leads to health, legal, and criminal problems accompanied by other wreckage like losing jobs and your family,” he said.
