Making college more affordable is a difficult prospect, and good people will disagree on what is a profoundly complicated and vitally important debate; however, what cannot stand is the status quo. It cannot remain a fact of life in the richest country in the world that only the wealthiest among us can afford the right to provide their children with an unburdened education.
..The meal plans are expensive, yet they are failing to satisfy and provide a healthy diet for every student because the dining hall doesn’t offer a variety of foods, doesn’t prioritize the health of students, and makes it extremely hard for students with food allergies to get enough to eat.
Covid did not stop at affecting the workplace and our schools. Enrollment and retention of students have dropped significantly within the last few years.
