Lucas Scully is a journalism major at Southern Maine Community College. He found his passion for writing after moving to Maine's scenic Mid-Coast, and decided to hone his ability in college. The volatile political environment inspired him to pursue journalism, allowing him to explore his love of writing through the lens of truth and justice. Lucas plans to further his education in the Pacific Northwest, with the ultimate goal of becoming a freelance writer. Outside of school Lucas can be found wandering the city of Portland, perusing the local bookshops, or chasing birds.
