RYAN CLOUTIER FINISHES OFF A DUNK AGAINST CENTRAL PENN. CLOUTIER WOULD
FINISH WITH 27 POINTS IN THE CONTEST BETWEEN NATIONALLY RANKED TEAMS.

As the basketball season moves toward the Yankee Small College Conference post-season play, the Beacon would like to do congratulatory shout-outs to the following players and Coach Matt Richards. As reported in the last Beacon, senior captain Ryan Cloutier became the 19th player in men’s basketball history to eclipse the 1,000-point
total. On Tuesday, Jan. 29, senior captain Atencio Martin became the 20th
player in men’s basketball history to reach the 1,000-point mark. Amanda Brett, sophomore captain of the women’s basketball team was selected United States Collegiate
Athletic Association (USCAA) National Division 2 Basketball Player
of the Week on January 29th. And… congratulations to Matt Richards who won his 300th win against the University of Maine Machias (66-58).
