What a great start it has been for the Celtics for the 2022-23 season. They currently hold one of the best records in the east, with seven wins, three losses. The Celtics’ two stars, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, have been showing their opponents what a great beginning looks like. Jaylen is averaging 24.2 points per game, and is shooting roughly 44.7%. Jayson is averaging an incredible 30.1 points per game, with almost 8 rebounds and shooting at 45%. With this type of performance, between the two of them, they could easily end up back in the finals like last year.

A notable game was the Chicago Bulls vs. Boston Celtics. In this game Jayson Tatum got to match up with superstar Demar DeRozan. Jayson scored 36 points with 12 rebounds. Demar scored a season high: 46 points. This was a great game to watch, bringing fans to an exciting finish as the game came down to the wire. The Celtics were able to hold off 123-119. The back up stars for the Celtics and Bulls, Jaylen Brown and Zack Lavine only had 16 points. For Tatum, this is now the eighth straight game where he has 20 points or more which is very impressive. Will the Celtics be able to keep up this playoff basketball contention, or not?
