Critical Senate Battleground Headed to a Runoff Election
Key battleground state Georgia remains contested, with Raphael Warnock (D) winning 49.4% of the vote and Herschel Walker (R) winning 48.5% of the vote. Because neither candidate received a majority of the vote, Georgia requires the election to advance to a runoff.
