On Sunday, October 20th, a small group of Midcoast students went on a trip to the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray. They enjoyed feeding the bears with a treat catapult, trying to find the deer camouflaged in the woods, and watching the porcupines search for acorns. The park is home to many animals that have been raised in captivity (sometimes illegally), were otherwise mistreated, or are unable to care for themselves in the wild.
