Emma Gallant is a second year student at Southern Maine Community College, who majors in Liberal Studies and can’t wait to share what’s going on in the Portland Maine area. She’s here to inform you about events, social happenings, entertainment, and new opportunities both on and off campus. 

Alongside others who write for The SMCC Beacon, Emma will be working to provide truthful stories and information in order to someday reach her goal of becoming a journalist. Taking this class is a step in the right direction, and she can’t wait for what’s to come.
