Here’s a question to the Seawolves community, did you end up watching the Super Bowl? The Kansas City Chiefs stunned the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 on Sunday, February 12th in a classic Super Bowl matchup. The game was a thriller, with both teams playing their heart throughout the entire game. The Eagles came out to a strong start, leading the Chiefs 24-14 when the teams hit the locker room at halftime; showing why the Eagles had made it here.

The Chiefs came out with a different mindset after Rihanna’s spectacular halftime performance; outscoring the Eagles 24-11 in the remainder of the game. Huge performances from both Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts, further proving themselves to be the future upcoming superstars in this league.

Harrison Butker landed the 27 yard field goal to clinch the victory for Kansas City, holding off Philadelphia with 8 seconds left.

This is the 2nd Super Bowl Victory in the Mahomes era in Kansas City, adding more hardware to his already stacked resume. Mahomes won his 2nd NFL MVP while bringing home his 2nd Super Bowl MVP as well. This brings the Chiefs star QB into elite company; becoming the 10th player in history to win MVP multiple times.

The question arises on how Kansas City will be able to keep their championship core around; but for right now, the Chiefs will enjoy their vacation from the sport.
